Snapseed

While stopping off for breakfast at this South Carolina McDonald's there was this amazing sunrise, Process: iPhone to Dropbox to iPad and Snapseed

Notes: We are definitely living in the golden age of photography and imaging.  So many people have access to modern day tools that mimic the unique looks of film.  Snapseed is an iOS app from the same folks that make Capture NX, my main RAW editing program for Nikon files.  Like the old adage, “No one cares how hard you worked,” the general picture taking public just want the vintage look via a click and could care less how it used to be done.  We live in the age of immediacy.  I’m not knocking it though, editing photos on a couch, not obsessing over small details can be a good thing.  It’s funny how what is considered photography (as in debating over the computer specs of digital cameras) is standing in the way of actually going out there and taking photos.

Using Snapseed to tinker with some existing photos on my iPad image gallery
