With all the hoopla around the Canon EOS R5 and R6 announcements I thought I’d post some recent random portraits taken with the RP and random lenses.  I’ve figured out how to get more “oomph” out of the raw files to my liking.  It just makes me scratch my head at why Canon made the recent generation of sensors produces raw files that you have to fight with to get results that were so easy with the cameras made ten+ years ago.  I expect that from my Nikon camera raw files, but it’s a different mindset there.  When I convert Nikon raws to get every last bit of pixel quality out of them, it’s like a Japanese video game that’s hard and rewards you for putting in the wrench time.  Canons usually are about a quick easy starting point, producing files that only had to adjust exposure in post.  Oh well, enough of my ramblings here are some photos to look at and judge! 😉
