Thanks for the invite to dinner!  It was a great time meeting and eating with some smart, and accomplished folks in the Atlanta and D.C. AAHPI scene.  The Buford Hwy corridor definitely has so many communities and stories.  Congrats to Mayor John Park of Brookhaven for being the first Asian American mayor in all of Georgia!

Can’t believe it’s taken me this long to eat at the second Nam Phuong location off Buford Hwy.  We’ve eaten at the first location since it opened, what, 15 years ago?!  That was definitely our go to before covering the Viet concerts back in the day.  There was more food I forgot to photograph, like the chicken, snow pea leaves, fried squid, and gelatin!  Oh for those that don’t like the watercress in the bo lac lac dish you can swap it out for good ol lettuce.  Also, congrats to Nam Phuong on their Michelin recommendation!
