It was crazy windy at Meteor Crater–close to hurricane force winds and it was really hard to even stand upright, much less focus on photos. But what an amazing sight. This entire desert area is like a movie. From small towns that celebrate the golden and silver age of alien tropes, to real craters bigger than stadiums. A 150ft object from space caused this ages ago, and it really puts things into perspective as we go about our common lives.
