To the best of my knowledge, here are the few remaining spots where you can get your film developed in Atlanta. (I’m not considering Walgreens/Walmart or similar places because they pretty much don’t give you back your negatives, just prints or scanned photos uploaded somewhere)
Some of these places I have not tried personally so please follow up with your own research. I’ve updated this list from 2024 in 2026 because there seems to be more and more spots doing film development!

Eventually I’ll get around to visiting/using all the above places, but here’s a brief recap of one I used in 2024:
The other day I drove all the way to Douglasville GA to try out a new (to me) place for some film development, The Photo Spot. I say all the way because as the old meme says, “Atlanta is 1 Hour from Atlanta.” For the last couple of weeks here in the metro area traffic has been much worse than normal. On that Saturday they had I-85 closed down to two lanes and it took me about 2 hours to get to the westside. On the way I honestly thought that it was probably best for me to drive all the way to Spartanburg South Carolina to drop off film. That is like 2.5 Hrs from me, but it just seems quicker due to the non gridlock traffic.
What was a pleasant surprise was that when I dropped off the 3 rolls of 36, they said if I could wait it would be ready in like 30 minutes! That was definitely not expected, as I haven’t gotten 1 hr film development in something like 10 years it seems. So I sat in my car with the door open and enjoyed the breeze.

They did a great job with the sleeved negatives. I would have been happy to drop it off and come back in a week when I felt like braving traffic again, but this was nice. You can see the results after my own scanning and color grading on this Post:
Olympus Stylus Epic Zoom 170 Roll 5&6 + Fujifilm

I was also told that shipping your film to them and shipping back was possible too! Now that’s definitely an amazing option to have for future reference. I can see myself shooting (wasting) all the film I have currently in my fridge and just dropping off a big bag at the end of the year. Definitely contact them for more info. (They also have a lot of film for purchase)
