Santa Fe, New Mexico is a lovely town. It’s got color, komorebi, and chiaroscuro maxed out for sure. So many contemporary art galleries too, with a few having work that would be at home on the east coast instead of out in the desert. This area has a much later spring than us too, and I was surprised to see so many flowers. I only brought two cameras, but found a digicam at a thrift store! Also visited a local camera store and bought a CP so I could stop using my sunglasses to cut the glare out of photos. (Of course when I’m finally looking at these photos weeks later at 100% the CP has horrible image degradation, oh well). There’s also an Asian Grocery store, with many of the things folks like us need to survive, like Melona non dairy bars! Santa Fe is small and easy to get around. Near a busy intersection is a colony of prairie dogs, and outside of downtown a bit is a big life size blue whale named “Ethyl” that’s made out of recycled plastic!
