Old Portrait Re Edits – Earthy Tones

I shot these photos with Amanda in 2020, which seems like forever ago.  Don’t know why I passed by these specific ones on the first pass.  I think that’s the cool thing about digging thru the archives of old photoshoots.  Even some of the off poses can have their own charm when they’ve had to time to sit.  I do remember on that day I specifically wanted to shoot with my old Nikon D300 and the Nikon J1 with an adapted 35mm 1.8.  A bit related to yesterday’s post with the soft couch vibes color grades, this one is more earthy tones that would look great printed on matte velvet paper.

Oh yes, what song on Boon’s Ultimate Random™ playlist stood out to me as I was editing the fly away hairs that didn’t belong? Let’s see, just now “Black Balloon” by the Goo Goo Dolls just ended, I always have fond memories attached to that song, and it just went to “The Fear” by Trustcompany.  That’s a pretty good transition.
