That was a fun “low key” Lao New Year/Boun Pimay at Wat Riverdale on Sunday.  Thanks to Aaliyah and Brianna for being the first models of the day!  😉 Great performances by the LDA Lao Dance Association, it was my first time seeing this new group of little future superstar dancers.  Thanks for continuing to preserve the heritage and culture.  Of course thanks to all the temple volunteers, and the great turnout for the thahk baht and community meal.  I had the sticky rice, larp, and kaeng nor mai (bamboo stew) and man was it good.  Oh I also shot a few rolls of film today (Fuji 200), hopefully they turned out okay.  We shall see in a few weeks.  (Update, Post here!) It was great seeing everyone, I don’t think I’d visited this temple in many years.

Here are a few photos, more to come in a future post, and possibly recap video, but why put in all that work for something folks are not going to watch fully anyway. 😭 🤷‍♂️🤣
