Sabaidee everyone, here are 100 photo highlights while I work on the rest. I’ve been really behind on things, and normally I post photo recaps with waaay more images, but hopefully these can sum up the wild and crazy vibe of this year’s LNY in Snellville! If you notice, these photos are also a tad bit different from my normal super glossy pretty photos. For this year I wanted to focus on the realness of our crazy+vibrant Lao culture. 🙂 So that meant deep depth of field photos showing the fun and the environment. Our events can be a sensory overload for sure. Here’s the experience in random order!

Besides the somewhat heavy GFX combo I was shooting early in the day, it was a bit liberating not carrying all of my big gear, and using only light cameras with basic kit lenses. As you can see from the water fight/war zone photos it was a good call not bringing the 200mm f2, 105mm 1.4 or 85mm 1.2. Yes I am capable of taking images that don’t rely on bokeh. 😉 More photos to come!
