Took a drive to Highlands North Carolina to take some portraits. It’s still green and uninspiring down here in Georgia, but as soon as I made the turn up into NC the leaves were almost peak!  You can never predict the leaf season around Atlanta, but this year it’s a lot earlier. Anyways, here are some of the photos I shot on the drive up there and walking around lovely Highlands location scouting.

It was a nice chilly (62 degree) walk around idyllic Highlands.  The sunlight was really nice too. Next post you’ll get to see the spots we ended up using!
