Notes: Just revisiting some of the Oakland Cemetery photos from the other week. Always good to let some images sit in the back for a while, and then see which ones worked and the problem solving both model and photographer had to work out. For this particular situation I noticed the light hitting the flowers off from where most of the other photographers were situated. I had a feeling the color of the yellow and gold flowers was going to match well with her hair which would have further been defined by the sunlight. Setting the white balance on cloudy further adds a global warmth to the image. These are still basically snapshots for fun, but seeing photos as potential paintings usually makes for stronger images.
