Welcome to Atlanta Miss Universe Laos

What a fun couple of days!  On behalf of the Lao community here in Atlanta, Georgia and the United States of America, we would like to welcome Miss Universe Laos May Vichitta Phonevilay @vichittapvl @missuniverselaos as she competes in the pageant held right in our beloved ATL!! 😉

Please give them a follow!

Here are some photos from my perspective.  I’d like to thank Amy Chomthakham for taking the lead in all the planning.  The way the Lao community came together reminds of the good ol’ days.
Of course special thanks to Miss May and Tot for coming along on our small photo shoot!  If only we had more time! 😉  Please get well, and rested for the days leading up to the Miss Universe pageant!! (Airing on Sunday Dec 8th from Tyler Perry’s new studio!)
Also…special appearance by Miss Universe Korea! 🙂  Thanks Tim Hur for being our interpreter, and thank you for brunch (you shouldn’t have!).  It’s great to know we have such a diverse community here in metro Atlanta willing to help.

These first pictures were from Wednesday, Nov 27th.  A “friendsgiving” dinner at Rain Thai and Sushi in Atlanta.  Please give them a visit!  One of my favorite places.

A lovely 76 degree day in late November in Atlanta. 😉

Thanks to Rain Thai and Sushi for hosting over 50 of us.

November 28, 2019

These pictures are from Thursday (Today!) Nov 28 (Thanksgiving).  For my international readers, today was a national holiday, with almost everything closed during the day and hardly anyone on the highway.

The morning started at 8:13 actually. Change your clock lady!! 🙂

Probably only twice out of every year, will you see Grady curve this empty

The international terminal is so much more calm than the madness of the domestic airport

So today I shot 4 cameras AND brought along a Fujifilm Instax Wide

Best of luck! More pix to come, hopefully the solo portraits I took were of good enough quality! 😉
