(The film itself is made in Japan and distributed from Greenwood S.C., and has rarely been in stock at the various Walmarts around me)<\/p>\n<p>For me, this go around was about getting portraits that I would scan and really try to get the color how I want it.\u00a0 Color negative film is still an intermediate step as scanning it at home on the Epson will produce different results than the lab prints that have the color settings perfect for the paper stock.\u00a0 But I think I did okay in treating these negative scans as raw files.\u00a0 Color casts and creative looks are so easy to do with almost every DSLR raw, but with film like Superia it&#8217;s a bit hard to counteract the magenta leanings of the film.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Anyways, here are my results from some of the &#8220;cheapest&#8221; film you can still buy in stores.
