Japan Fest 2019 | Gwinnett Forum | Saturday, September 21, 2019<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Thanks to the country of Japan for creating the anime of my childhood, the cars we drive, and the cameras\/lenses we obsess over!! (If anyone is wondering I only shot 35mm and 105mm today!)<\/h4>\n

Also, an unrelated topic, I haven’t regularly updated the rolling photo blog section of my website in such a looong time.  Time flies and things have moved on from the heyday of blogs which was around 2010-2012 (which oddly enough coincides with the peak DSLR sales from the Japanese electronics companies).  Maybe it’s time to go back to this (now oddly enough) “old fashioned” way of just posting pictures.  I’ve always supported the idea of presenting images in the order that I want, with the maximum jpeg quality I can squeeze into 1000 pixels, away from the noisy feed that most people have to experience–an occasional interesting photo intermixed with rants on traffic or politics or co workers or other nonsense.  There really aren’t many spaces out there left on the web where you can look at decent pictures without the glut of ads and distractions.  My suggestion is put on an hour long synthwave compilation on YouTube, and browse around…<\/h4>\n
