For every year that I get to attend Dragon Con I usually have as my third option in cameras, something bizarre and unique.\u00a0 (For a few years it was an infrared Sigma Foveon camera)\u00a0 This year I shot some 3D pictures with my (dusty) Loreo 3D Lens in a Cap on the mirrorless Canon EOS RP.\u00a0 If you’re old enough to remember the Viewmasters from back in the day this is basically the same premise (which a type of stereoscopic photography that goes back over a 100 years!).\u00a0 There aren’t too many indoor shots as the “lens” is limited to f\/11 or f\/16.<\/h4>\n

To experience the full glorious 3D you need a simple stereoscopic viewer, hold it up like spectacles\/glasses and relax your eyes to “see beyond it.”\u00a0 I’ve been using the foldable Pokescope and the results are pretty neat!\u00a0 I even keep random junk shots, as the sense of depth is interesting.\u00a0 My personal favorite is the Mind Flayer picture near the bottom!\u00a0 Thanks again to everyone for posing, even if it was of the running by kind. \ud83d\ude09 -Boon<\/h4>\n
