wanted this camera since Nikon announced it back in late 2013.&nbsp; Its high price and quirky ergonomics was definitely polarizing amongst internet photographers back then.&nbsp; For me though, I shoot so many camera brands, makes, and models, that at the end of the day I see every tool as having some value or strength.&nbsp; I put the word &#8220;Review&#8221; in quotes because that is normally a type of web posting that would help inform someone on if they should spend their hard earned money on something.&nbsp; This is different because I think I&#8217;m just going to focus on showing the pictures that I knew this could produce when immediately inserted into my rotating gear loadouts.&nbsp; Sometimes you buy things in the photographic world to address a need or solve a problem, other times you just buy something for yourself.<\/h4>\n<h4>I think most real photographers out there in 2018 would agree with me, that &#8220;old&#8221; digital cameras like a D800\/D600 or a 5D mk II can still do great work on almost every type of current job or situation out there.&nbsp; I say that, because I&#8217;m one that still uses all those ones mentioned. \ud83d\ude42 You might could even go back farther to the 2003 cameras for simple portraits with friends.&nbsp; It all depends on how you see the world, the light and subject matter, and the timing and recognition of a worthy scene or moment.&nbsp; That and lenses of course, another addiction, but that&#8217;s another topic for another day.<\/h4>\n<h4>All these pictures are not straight out of camera, they&#8217;ve been edited in my &#8220;style&#8221; with Nikon Capture NX2.&nbsp; I believe this Nikon Df&#8217;s RAW files are the last .NEF&#8217;s that are supported. &nbsp;<\/h4>\n<div id=\"attachment_32220\"
